The Disciples of Christ Historical Society was pleased to participate in and support the 23rd North American Pacific/Asian Disciples (NAPAD) Convocation in Salt Lake City, Utah, July 17-20. The theme for the gathering was “Revive; Renew” and centered on 2 Corinthians 5:17: “So if anyone is in Christ, there is a new creation: everything old has passed away; see, everything has become new!”

At the biennial gathering the Disciples of Christ Historical Society had the privilege of sharing Disciples history resources with the NAPAD community. This event also provided a meaningful opportunity to learn about the unique histories of their congregations. DCHS was honored to co-sponsor the “Cultural Night” Banquet alongside Week of Compassion and the National Benevolent Association, celebrating the diverse cultures that make up NAPAD.
