Cara Gilger (she/her) is the Director of Communications for the Disciples of Christ Historical Society.

Cara received her Bachelors of Arts in Religion from Texas Christian University and her Masters of Divinity from Vanderbilt University. An ordained minister in the Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), Cara brings her 20 years of congregational leadership and five years of communication ministries to her work at the Historical Society. Based in Dallas, Texas, Cara, her partner Tim, and two daughters, attend Northway Christian Church.
